7 cricketers of Bangladesh are going to perform Umrah

Seven Bangladeshi cricketers are going to perform Umrah before the T20 World Cup which starts on October 16. The cricketers are currently on leave after the five-match T20 series against New Zealand on Friday. Taskin Ahmed, Nurul Hasan Sohan and Mohammad Saifuddin are going to perform Umrah in Saudi Arabia using this holiday.

Bangladesh will face Scotland on the opening day of the tournament. The Bangladesh team will leave the country on October 4 to take part in this mega event.

The cricketers will leave Dhaka for Umrah on September 16. For this, they have got a 30-day visa. However, at the end of Umrah, he has confirmed his return ticket on the 21st. Seven cricketers are going to perform Umrah, five of whom are in the squad for the upcoming T20 World Cup. They are- Taskin Ahmed, Nurul Hasan Sohan, Afif Hossain, Mohammad Naeem Sheikh and Mohammad Saifuddin.

Out of these five cricketers, two more cricketers will go for Umrah with them. They are Taizul Islam and wicketkeeper-batsman Zakir Hasan. Abdur Rashid, the father of fast bowler Taskin Ahmed, will be the partner of these 6 cricketers.

After that, the cricketers who were called up for the World Cup will get a chance to spend some time with their families back in the country. At the end of the holiday, they have to prepare for the World Cup. However, the Bangladesh Cricket Board has not set a schedule for official practice in the country. Shakib Al Hasan-Mahmudullah Riyadh will go to Oman on October 4 for a conditioning camp.
