He also criticized Mark Zuckerberg’s monopoly power on Facebook.

“We must act now,” Haugen told Republicans and Democrats at the hearing.

Meanwhile, co-founder Mark Zuckerberg has denied all allegations.

He said most of the allegations against Facebook were “baseless”.

He added that Facebook continues to fight against harmful content and maintains transparency.
