Awami League general secretary Obaidul Quader has congratulated the countrymen on the New Year. The Minister of Road Transport and Bridges said Awami League hopes that the opposition party will leave the dark path of negative political practices and return to the positive trend. He expressed this optimism during an exchange of views at the capital’s Setu Bhaban on Sunday morning. Obaidul Quader said, after the launch of the dream Padma Setu, 403 crores of tolls have been collected to date, which is piece of good news for the country’s economy. Later, the bridge minister exchanged English New Year greetings with the officials of the department at the bridge building and reviewed the progress of ongoing development projects. The minister then exchanged views with the officials of the road department and inquired about the progress of the ongoing development projects.
