A.League will accept as many seats as EC can vote in EVM: Obaidul Quader

General Secretary of the party Obaidul Quader said that the Awami League will accept as many seats as the Election Commission (EC) can vote on EVMs. He said, “We want electronic voting machines (EVM) in all 300 seats in the next election.” But we will accept what the commission can do according to their ability. Obaidul Quader said these things at the winter clothes distribution program of Dhaka Metropolitan North Awami League on behalf of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Monday afternoon. Has been informed by the Metropolitan North Awami League that about 3 thousand 600 families have been given winter clothes in this program on the ground of Adarsh High School next to Mirpur-10. Minister of Road Transport and Bridges Obaidul Quader said that Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has given 3 million winter clothes across the country and said, “People are suffering in winter. We are on the side of the people. I was, am, and will be by Sheikh Hasina’s leadership in any suffering of the people. The general secretary of the ruling Awami League criticized the opposition BNP and said that the people are with the Awami League and not with the BNP. The BNP has ruined politics by following invisible orders from the banks of the Thames. This must end. BNP will never succeed in the movement and elections if it cannot come out of this. Obaidul Quader claimed that BNP democracy and the values of liberation war are ‘murderers’ and said, ‘How will they repair the state, which gave birth to one crore fake voters, fake votes? Sheikh Hasina’s government will repair the state. His government (Awami League government) established the first Election Commission in this country through law. He also claimed that BNP has destroyed the country’s democracy and electoral system. Obaidul Quader said about US Assistant Minister of State Donald Lu’s visit to Dhaka, why did the BNP leaders go to the hospital after Donald Lu arrived? The BNP campaigned on the mission of tarnishing the image of Bangladesh in the international arena under invisible orders. They are the ones who gave birth to corrupt politics in the country. If you can’t get out of this way, you will never succeed in the movement. BNP will not succeed in the election either. They are doing politics of hypocrisy. Awami League leaders and workers are on the streets to face the election. Dhaka Metropolitan North Awami League President Sheikh Bazlur Rahman presided over the event. State Minister for Industries Kamal Ahmed Majumdar, Dhaka Metropolitan North Awami League General Secretary SM Mannan, Vice President Quader Khan, Office Secretary William Praloy Samaddar, and others also spoke.
