Corrupt people will destroy all development if they come to power: PM Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s

speech at the exchange of greetings with leaders and activists Prime Minister and Awami League President Sheikh Hasina today called on the countrymen to give her party one more chance in the next general election to establish Bangladesh as a developing country. He warned the countrymen about the anti-independence, saying that if the corrupt came to power again, they would destroy all the development of the country. The Prime Minister said these things while exchanging greetings with people of various classes and professions on the occasion of the holy Eid-ul-Fitr at his official residence Ganabhaban. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said, ‘I am grateful to the people. Because they have repeatedly voted us into power and allowed us to serve them. The next general election is knocking at the door. I hope people will give us another chance to establish Bangladesh as a developing country. Because the country will start its journey as a full-fledged developing country in 2026. We have prepared for this purpose. The Prime Minister said, ‘I am really happy to meet you on the holy day of Eidul Fitr. Because you are my close loved ones and soul mates.’ He further said that after losing his parents and brothers on the terrible night of August 15, 1975, he got the love and affection of the people of this country. The Prime Minister said that since 2009, Bangladesh had been recognized as a developing country due to the continued democratic process and stability in the country. He said Bangladesh has witnessed such great socio-economic progress. Because the people voted Awami League to power three times in a row in 2008, 2014, and 2018 elections. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said, ‘I express my gratitude to Almighty Allah and the people of Bangladesh for repeatedly voting Awami League to power and allowing them to serve. Stating that she loves the country and the people of the country like a mother, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said that she is working tirelessly to bring smiles to the faces of distressed people by ensuring all their basic needs and providing them with a beautiful and prosperous life. Because this was the dream of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. The Prime Minister said that due to extensive infrastructural development including roads, highways, and bridges, especially the Padma Bridge, this year’s Eid journey has become easy and peaceful. Greeting the people who went to their respective villages to share the joy of Eid with their loved ones, the Prime Minister said that people are now enjoying village-to-village as his government has provided electricity to every house.
