On the occasion of the 74th founding anniversary of Awami League, he said this at the discussion meeting organized at Bangabandhu International Conference Center in the capital on Friday (June 23) afternoon.

Sheikh Hasina said, ‘It is a proven fact that the people benefit and the fate of the people changes when the Awami League is in government. ‘

Highlighting the development in various fields, he said, “We have brought a great change in Bangladesh. Today’s Bangladeshi people want meat rice instead of salt rice. At least this has improved. ‘

He said, ‘Awami League was established by the people, for the people and to serve the people, this is the work of the Awami League. ‘

Highlighting the various developments of the Awami League government in the past, the Prime Minister said, ‘Because the Awami League is in the government but because the people have voted for the boat brand, people have changed today. ‘

He said, “Today’s development and change would never have happened if Awami League had not come to power.” People’s fate will change only if there is Awami League. ‘

The Prime Minister presented a comparative picture of how far the country has progressed in various fields during the Awami League government compared to the BNP period.

Sheikh Hasina said, ‘We are fulfilling every basic need of people, food, clothing, shelter, education. We are implementing the dream of the father of the nation. ‘

Highlighting the various initiatives of the government to bring health care to people’s doorstep, he said, “We are giving 30 types of medicines for free through community clinics, and even insulin has now started for free.” ‘

The prime minister said that the government’s program of providing free houses and houses and giving houses to only 30,000 families will ensure houses for all, “No one will be landless in Bangladesh, no one will be without an address.” That is our goal. ‘

He said, ‘No man will live unhealthily. We will arrange for everyone to live in a beautiful house-to-house. This will be the promise of Awami League on the foundation anniversary. I will realize the dream of the father of the nation. ‘

Sheikh Hasina said, “We have come a long way in realizing the dream of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu. I will get the status of developing country within 26 years. ‘

He said, ‘We have to continue to increase production. Signup rates should continue to increase. We need to increase our capacity economically. ‘

Calling on everyone to be vigilant, Sheikh Hasina said, ‘Let no one play tricks with Bangladesh. I know there are many plots, conspiracies. ‘

Highlighting the global situation due to the impact of Corona and the Russia-Ukraine war, the Prime Minister said, “I know that some difficult times are going on. We are trying hard to alleviate the suffering of people. ‘

He urged the rich to stand by the poor people.

Highlighting various achievements under the leadership of Awami League as a political party, Sheikh Hasina said, ‘Awami League was established with the aim of achieving economic, political, social and cultural liberation of the people of this country. ‘
