It is said that in the last 24 hours, 2 thousand 202 people have been admitted to hospital due to dengue. Among them 1 thousand 143 people in Dhaka City and 1 thousand 59 people in the whole country (except Dhaka City) have been admitted to hospital due to dengue.
In the last 24 hours, a total of 1,907 dengue patients have been discharged from hospitals across the country. Among them, 904 people from different hospitals in Dhaka City and 1,030 people from different hospitals across the country (except Dhaka City) have received clearance.
The notification also informed that 10 people have died due to dengue infection in the last 24 hours. Of these, nine died in Dhaka City and one across the country (excluding Dhaka City).
A total of 239 people died due to dengue this year. Among them, 188 people died in Dhaka City and 51 people died in the whole country (except Dhaka City).
A total of 46 thousand 407 people have been affected by dengue until July 26 this year. Among them there are 26 thousand 648 people in Dhaka City and 19 thousand 559 people in the whole country (except Dhaka City).
A total of 37 thousand 207 people have received clearance from the hospital so far this year. Among them, 21 thousand 507 people from different hospitals of Dhaka City and 15 thousand 647 people from different hospitals across the country (except Dhaka City) have received clearance.
At present, a total of 8,961 dengue patients are admitted in hospitals across the country. 5 thousand 100 people in Dhaka city and 3 thousand 861 patients in whole country (except Dhaka city) are admitted in hospital.
From January 1 to December 31 last year, a total of 62 thousand 382 patients were admitted to various hospitals in the country and a total of 281 people died due to dengue.
