Kim Jong-un arrived in Russia by bulletproof train

North Korea’s leader, Kim Jong-un, has arrived in Russia. This information was announced through Japanese media on Tuesday.

It has been reported from the Kremlin that there will be extensive discussions between Kim Jong-un and Russian President Vladimir Putin. Kim Jong-un’s trip to Russia comes amidst Washington’s concerns over North Korea’s reluctance to sign a disarmament agreement in the wake of the Ukraine conflict.

Kim Jong-un left Pyongyang last week on his personal bulletproof train bound for Russia. North Korea’s state media has confirmed this information today.

During his visit to Russia, Kim Jong-un is accompanied by his country’s Foreign Minister and senior military officials. It has also been revealed that top arms industry officials from North Korea are with him.

According to Japan’s news agency Kyodo News, Kim Jong-un arrived at Khasan Railway Station in Russia’s Far Eastern region on the train from North Korea.

Dmitry Peskov, the Kremlin’s spokesperson, stated that this would be a full-fledged visit with discussions between delegations from both countries. Afterward, the leaders of both countries will maintain direct contact if necessary.
