Various crime and intelligence departments of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) have arrested 45 people by conducting anti-narcotics operations in different areas of the capital. They were arrested on charges of selling and consuming drugs.
As part of Dhaka Metropolitan Police’s regular anti-narcotics operation, they were arrested from 6 am on Friday to 6 am on Saturday in various police stations of the capital, along with the recovery of narcotics. DMP News reported this information.
During the arrest, 13948 pieces of yaba, 152 grams of heroin, 2 kg of 344 grams of 65 pure ganja and 14 pieces of narcotic injection were seized from their custody. 31 cases under the Narcotics Control Act have been registered against the arrested in the concerned police stations.
