In the Israeli airstrike on Gaza, two senior Hamas operatives were killed. This information has also been confirmed by the independent Palestinian organization.
The deceased Hamas operatives were identified as Zakariya Abu Muammar and Jawad Abu Shamal. They were members of the organization’s political bureau.
According to a statement from the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF), during an operation in Khan Yunis, Gaza on Tuesday morning, two Hamas operatives were killed.
A spokesperson from the IDF stated that the deceased, Jawad Abu Shamal, was the Hamas minister responsible for economic affairs. He was involved in coordinating armed groups both inside and outside Gaza and planning Hamas attacks on Israeli civilians.
