Dhaka: U.S. Under Secretary for Civilian Security, Democracy, and Human Rights, Uzra Zeya, has emphasized the importance of free and fair elections in Bangladesh.
She stated that the United States does not favor any specific political party in Bangladesh but is interested in the continuity of democracy. She made these remarks during a meeting with Salman F. Rahman, the Prime Minister’s Advisor for Private Industry and Investment, on Friday (October 27).
