In the eastern region of Pakistan, thousands of people have fallen ill due to toxic smog. As a result, authorities have been compelled to suspend activities in several cities. Recently, the city of Lahore, the country’s second-largest, has reached hazardous levels of air pollution. Following the directives of the provincial government in Punjab, schools, offices, shops, and parks in three cities will remain closed until next Sunday.

Similar smog has also spread in the northern region of India. Last Tuesday, Delhi experienced hazardous levels of air pollution. Residents of Lahore have stated that the harmful smog has significantly affected their health and daily activities.
