Dhaka: Major General A K M Aminul Haque, Director General (DG) of the Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defense Force, has recently promoted eight officers to the position of Director with a rank increment. This announcement was made during a ceremony held on Tuesday (November 14) at 11 a.m. at the central office of the Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defense Force.
The promoted directors are Afzal Hossen, M. Selim Ujjaman, M. Eftakharul Islam, Roksana Begum, Fatema-Tuz-Zohra, Shirin Sultana, M. Zane Alam Sufian, and Sadon Chakma. They joined the Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defense Force through the 29th BCS examination as Assistant Directors.
The Deputy Director (Project training) of the Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defense Force, M. Jahidul Islam, informed Banglanews about the matter. He mentioned that on November 13, eight officers were promoted from Deputy Director to Director, and a day later, their rank increments were awarded by the Director General of the force.
During the ceremony, additional Major General Brigadier General Khondokar Farid Hasan, recently promoted additional Major General Brigadier General M. Nazim Uddin, Deputy Director General, Directors, and other high-ranking officials and members of the Ansar Battalion were present. The Director General extended best wishes to the promoted officers with flowers and celebrated the occasion by cutting a cake.
