In the northeastern region of the United States, in New Hampshire, yesterday local time, an armed individual opened fire at a mental hospital. In this incident, one person has been killed. Later, the gunman also succumbed to gunshot wounds.
Colonel Mark Hall of the New Hampshire Police stated that the suspected gunman entered New Hampshire Hospital and shot someone immediately upon entering. The police officer further explained that a member of the security forces, employed at the hospital following the established protocols, shot the gunman, resulting in his death.
The police officer also mentioned that there is no apparent reason for the general public to be alarmed by this incident. Recently, there have been several shooting incidents in the United States, with many resulting in casualties.
