Foreign Minister’s Advice on Hiring Skilled Human Resources in Kosovo

Dhaka: Gunar Ureya, the appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Kosovo in Bangladesh, has held a farewell meeting with the State Minister for Foreign Affairs A K Abdul Momen. The meeting took place at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Sunday (December 3).

During the meeting, the State Minister praised the active role of the Ambassador in advancing bilateral relations. He emphasized the significance of bilateral relations, particularly in fostering communication among the people. The State Minister also provided advice on importing advanced pharmaceuticals and RMG from Bangladesh to Kosovo. He also encouraged Kosovo to recruit skilled human resources from Bangladesh.

In the meeting, the outgoing Ambassador expressed gratitude to the Bangladeshi government for its support towards the Republic of Kosovo. He praised Bangladesh’s progress and development in various sectors. The Ambassador informed the State Minister about the current political and economic situation in Kosovo, regional development, and the interest of business communities in both Bangladesh and Kosovo.

They also discussed women’s empowerment and sustainable development. The departing Ambassador praised the people, culture, and beauty of Bangladesh, stating that the country would forever remain in his heart. The State Minister conveyed his best wishes for the Ambassador’s future endeavors.

Gunar Ureya has spent more than four years as the Ambassador of Kosovo in Bangladesh.
