Finally the game is about to start

Even though the sky was cloudy, the rain stopped early in the morning. The covers were also removed, and some cricket players warmed up by playing football. Others were practicing batting and bowling on one side of the field. However, the Mirpur Test match’s play on the third day was delayed due to a wet outfield.
The scheduled start time was 9:00 AM, with the play expected to begin 15 minutes earlier today. The plan was to play 98 overs today. However, due to some time being lost in the first session, it is not possible to achieve that today. Nevertheless, at 11:00 AM, after the umpires inspected the field, they announced that the play would start at 12:00 PM.
Yesterday, the second day was affected by rain, and the covers remained on the stadium for the entire day. Even though players came onto the field, most of them spent more time in the dressing room. Before that, on the first day of the Test, Bangladesh won the toss and decided to bat first against New Zealand. Bangladesh couldn’t stand in front of New Zealand’s spin heaven and got all out for 172 runs.
However, in the late afternoon, with the ball in hand, Bangladesh’s spinners also dominated New Zealand’s batting. Taijul Islam and Mehedi Hasan Miraz took advantage, taking 5 wickets and limiting New Zealand to 55 runs at the end of the first day.
