Fire breaks out at Meherba Plaza on Topkhana Road, three rescued

A fire incident took place at Meherba Plaza on Topkhana Road in the capital. The fire service and civil defense rescued three people, including a woman trapped in the smoke.

Sunday (January 21) fire service reported the fire at 7:33 am. Later, the fire was brought under control at 8:15 am with the efforts of four units. Fire Service Media Cell Officer Shahjahan Shikder informed this information.

He said, fire broke out on the 15th floor of the 16-storey building of Meherba Plaza. Four units of Siddique Bazar fire station rushed to the spot and brought the fire under control. Three people, including two men and a woman, trapped in the smoke, were rescued.
