A lot of people gather at the book fair

There is a long line of readers and visitors at the gate to enter the Amar Ekushey Book Fair through TSC. A heavy crowd of readers surrounded the pavilion-stall at the fair.

Someone flipping through a favorite book; Someone is taking a picture. Someone is having fun chatting with favorite writers, friends, acquaintances. Suhrawardy Udyan has turned into a people’s paradise during the book fair on Friday.

As there are readers who are interested in the fair, so are the visitors. People from different classes and professions came to the fair on holidays. People of different ages and relationships including parents, brothers and sisters, newlyweds, lovers, teenagers, youths, children, women are present at the book fair. Attendance is also higher than other times due to Metrorail.

Shakil Ahmed is happy to be able to come to the fair in such a crowd. He said, because of his job, he cannot come to the fair. Many writers stay on Fridays. Friends and acquaintances also live. So even if there is a crowd on this day, there is a joy in my heart.

Shamim Hossain came from Mirpur in the fair. He is happy to come for the first time this year.

Salman Hossain came with his mother to the reader’s rally. Repeatedly asking mother for a story book. His mother told BanglaNews that now she wants to buy it, but if she takes it home, she won’t even open it.

As there are readers in the fair during the holidays, there is also the presence of writers. Another popular writer Sadat Hossain has come today. A big fuss has been made around him. Many people stand in line to get their favorite author’s autograph on the book.

Author Anisul Haque is present in Pratham Prakashani. There is a crowd of readers around him. This year his book ‘Kakhno Amar Maake’ was published.

Meanwhile, the publishers are happy with the sales during the holidays. They say, because of Metrorail, attendance is good this time, sales are also satisfactory.

Ahmad Publishing House salesman Shah Alam told Banglanews that the sales are fairly good. Sometimes more, sometimes less.

Shobha Prakash salesperson Tasneem Kabir Trisha said, book sales are good Alhamdulillah. There are many readers in the fair. I hope it will be crowded.

The viewer’s interest in pencil stills
After entering the fair through the TSC gate, the eyes fell on some interesting painters. They have been drawing pictures of the person in front of them for a long time. Pencil strokes on white paper; A similar picture is being created. Some eager visitors have gathered to see these painters.

At the beginning of the entrance to the fair, you will see the author speaking stage. Fiction writer Anwar Hossain Badal is discussing on stage. The novel ‘Vivarna Pandulipi’ is based on what he saw during his three years of living in Dinajpur. The author is speaking on stage, describing various incidents including smuggling in Dinajpur.
