On March 12, 2024, a meeting of the National Economic Council (NEC) was held under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at the Sher-e-Bangla NEC Conference Center. In this meeting, various important matters regarding national economy were discussed and decisions were made. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina led the discussions on economic policies and national development and directed the NEC accordingly. The meeting covered topics such as the government budget, economic strategies, project allocation, and various national development processes. Additionally, consensus was reached on various projects and initiatives.
