During the event, she observed a moment of silence in memory of Bangladeshi peacekeepers who were killed while serving in UN peacekeeping missions.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina paid tribute to the fallen and injured members of the UN peacekeeping missions, acknowledging their contributions. She remarked, “Our brave peacekeepers are risking their lives to establish peace in various parts of the world. Their sacrifice and bravery make us proud.”

The event was attended by high-ranking government officials, members of the military, foreign diplomats, and UN representatives. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina praised the outstanding role of Bangladeshi peacekeepers in promoting global peace and extended her deepest condolences to their families.
