The Chief Advisor of the Interim Government urged to seek constitutional rights considering themselves not as a minority but as people, as citizens of the country. Muhammad Yunus.
He also promised to establish justice by ensuring the punishment of the guilty in various attacks on the Hindu community.
He made this call during an exchange of views with Sanatan religious people at Dhakeshwari temple on Tuesday (August 13).
Dr. Muhammad Yunus said, We are going to make Bangladesh where everyone is one family. This is the main thing. There is no question of making any distinction between families. We are not considered Muslims, Hindus, Buddhists; Considered as human. Let our rights be guaranteed.
The chief adviser said, if you drag and drag I am so and so, I am so and so, it has gone back to the old place. You say that I am a human being, I am a human being of Bangladesh, this is my constitutional right, I have to give it. This is what you want from all governments.
In the past years, all the institutions of the country have been destroyed, Nobel peace winner Yunus said, the root of all the problems is that all the institutions we have are rotten. This is why these noises are happening. We need to fix our institutions.
He said, if justice is done, tell me who will not get justice. What religion, caste, law says that if it is a Muslim community, it will go to this court, if it is a Hindu community, it will go to that court. The law is one for all, who has the ability to distinguish between one and the other.
Dr. Yunus said, this is such a disease, we must go to the root. If you say we are minority, we are moving away from the main problem. We must assert our democratic rights. If I get that, I have to establish freedom of speech. We have to establish human rights. This is our main goal.
The Chief Adviser to the Sanatan religious people said, I request you not to go into different khopas (divisions). If this is the case, there will be fights between the cases. come as one A law, we must give legal rights. He said, you don’t get legal rights, you don’t get justice. This is the real thing. The justice system doesn’t look at us, the police doesn’t look at us. Because, I could not claim the right. We could not establish our policy.
Dr. Yunus said, those who will start khop khop, they will also have fun. Don’t take us to that fun game again. We have come, we are one people, we have one right. No distinction can be made between them.
Asking for everyone’s cooperation, the chief adviser said, help us a little, be patient a little. Judge what I could do, what I could not do later. If not, blame us.
