“US Presidential Election: Kamala’s Tough Journey with Confidence”

“Those Americans who work hard every day to achieve their dreams, who stand by each other, whose stories are only possible in America, I accept the nomination on behalf of all of them as the next US Presidential candidate.”

With these words, Kamala Harris officially launched her election campaign as the next Presidential candidate last Thursday night in front of 22,000 excited and enthusiastic Democratic supporters at the United Center in Chicago, USA.

Kamala portrayed herself as an ordinary American who, born into a working-class immigrant family, has come this far in the fight to become the most powerful person on earth through sheer hard work and dedication. She said, “I am an American just like you.”

Kamala continued, “When I started presenting cases in front of judges as a prosecutor in California, I would introduce myself as Kamala Harris, representing the people. Indeed, throughout my professional life, I have always fought for the people.”

On the other hand, Donald Trump, raised with his father’s vast wealth, cannot understand the daily struggles of ordinary Americans, nor can he join them in their fight. Kamala stated, “Trump has fought his entire life for only one person, and that person is Trump himself.”

To highlight the contrast with her Republican opponent Donald Trump, Kamala frequently referred to her hardworking childhood. She wasn’t born with a silver spoon in her mouth. Her scientist mother came from India with the dream of discovering a cure for cancer. After separating from her Jamaican husband, she managed the household alone and raised her two daughters with the confidence that hard work and determination never go to waste.

Kamala reiterated, “Trump, raised with his father’s wealth, can never understand the daily struggles of ordinary Americans.” She emphasized, “Trump has spent his entire life fighting only for himself.”

A day earlier, on the second day of the convention, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz accepted the party’s nomination as Kamala’s running mate. With this nomination, the Kamala-Walz duo officially entered the election race against the Trump-J.D. Vance ticket.
