Kamala wants to do away with the requirement of degree in certain central government jobs

U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris said if elected, she would drop the college degree requirement for certain federal jobs. According to him, human skill cannot be measured by degrees. Kamala Harris said these things in a speech given in Pennsylvania on Friday.

Kamala is fighting for the Democratic Party in the presidential election to be held on November 5. In his speech on Friday, he said, ‘If I take charge as the President, I will drop these unnecessary issues related to compulsory degree in central government jobs. Steps will be taken to increase job opportunities for people who do not have a four-year degree.’

According to a survey released by the US Census Bureau in early 2023, more than 62 percent of US citizens age 25 and older do not have a bachelor’s degree. Three in five voters in 2020 did not have a college degree.

Kamla mentioned that the private sectors will also be called upon to take similar steps.

Kamla says that having a degree does not mean that the person is skilled.

Kamala Harris and Republican candidate Donald Trump are both trying to woo voters with different economic promises. Kamla says he wants to cut taxes for the middle class. And Trump says he will cut taxes on overtime pay if he becomes president. Both of them will deduct tax on the amount received as gratuity.
