A storm with a speed of 60 km is possible over nine regions of the country. Therefore, warning signals have been raised in the river ports of all those areas.
Meteorologist Md. Bajlur Rashid said that rain/thunderstorm with gusty/gusty wind at 45-60 km per hour from west/south-west direction over Dhaka, Khulna, Barisal, Patuakhali, Noakhali, Comilla, Chittagong, Cox’s Bazar and Sylhet regions. The river ports in these areas have been asked to display the number one warning signal.
According to another forecast, the extension of monsoon axis extends over Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, West Bengal and central Bangladesh to Assam. An extension of it is located in the North Bay of Bengal. Monsoon is fairly active over Bangladesh and moderate over North Bay of Bengal.
Light to moderate rain/thundershowers with gusty winds may occur on Tuesday (October 1) at most places of Dhaka, Mymensingh, Barisal, Chittagong and Sylhet divisions and at many places of Rangpur, Rajshahi and Khulna divisions. Along with this, moderate to heavy rainfall may occur in some parts of the country. Day temperatures may drop by 1-2 degrees Celsius across the country and night temperatures may remain almost unchanged.
On Wednesday (October 2), light to moderate rain/thunder with gusty winds may occur at most places of Rangpur, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna, Barisal, Chittagong and Sylhet divisions and at many places of Rajshahi division. Along with this, moderate to very heavy rainfall may occur in some parts of the country. Day and night temperatures may drop by 1-2 degrees Celsius across the country.
On Thursday (October 3), light to moderate rain/thunder with gusty winds may occur at most places of Rangpur, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna, Barisal, Chittagong and Sylhet divisions and at many places of Rajshahi division. Along with this, moderate to very heavy rainfall may occur in some parts of the country. Day and night temperatures may drop slightly across the country. Rainy trend may continue in extended five days.
