Bolivia 1-4 Argentina: Messi scores twice at Copa America

Lionel Messi’s Argentina has won the match in Copa America against Bolivia. Messi, who is in irresistible form, broke the record for most goals scored by an Argentine national team through a pair of goals in a match.

Lionel Scaloni’s side took a 3-0 lead in the first half of the match at the Arena Pantanel Stadium at 6am Bangladesh time on Tuesday (June 29). After the break, Argentina sent the ball to the Bolivian net once more.

Since the start of the match strong Argentina took over weak Bolivia. Then in the 42nd minute of the match, Messi got the ball from Sergio Aguero and sent the ball back to the Bolivian net with a long shot from outside the box. Argentina went to the break with a 3-0 lead.

Argentina continued to put pressure on Bolivia even after the break. Lautaro Martinez took the lead 4-0 in the 65th minute. After that more than one opportunity came and no team could use it. Bolivia ended the game in a 4-1 disappointment against Argentina at the end of an extra three minutes from the scheduled time.

Argentina finished the first round with 10 points in four matches like Brazil.
