Mortality is on the rise in rural areas due to last minute identification

Deaths in Corona are on the rise in rural areas of the country due to the fact that he was rushed to the hospital with symptoms.

The scope of coronavirus test has increased in the country. Covid is now being tested in 426 labs, including RT-PCR, Gene Expert and Antigen. The number of daily tests is fluctuating between 30,000-35,000. Test opportunities are mainly city-centric, especially Dhaka-centric. But this time the number of patients in Wave village is also increasing.

Coronavirus infections are on the rise due to the spread of delta variants in rural areas. The death toll in the bordering Khulna, Rajshahi and Rangpur divisions is alarming. But in most of the districts of these divisions, there is no system of RT-PCR test to identify corona. In some places, genetic experts and rabid antigen tests have identified patients, but they are insufficient. As a result, patients have to suffer for tests, and deaths are on the rise as they go to the hospital with symptoms.

The director general of the health department said more than 50% of the Kovid-19 patients admitted to the hospital came from rural areas where people feel safe from the epidemic.
