New decision regarding SSC and HSC examination system

Due to coronavirus infection in Bangladesh, it has been decided to conduct secondary and higher secondary examinations in 2021 in different ways. The Dhaka Board of Education has said that the examination will be held only in three group-based elective subjects.

According to a press release issued by the Dhaka Board of Education, no examination will be held on the required subjects and the fourth subject. The test will be held on only three group-based elective subjects. Examination will be taken in accordance with the hygiene rules by reducing the examination time and examination number.

The Dhaka Board of Education says this method will have no effect on admissions to higher education.

On July 15, Education Minister Dipu Moni said that if the coronavirus situation came under control, SSC exams would be held in the second week of November and HSC exams in the first week of December.
