State Minister for Religion Md. Faridul Haque Khan said the government would do everything possible to ensure harmony in the country.
After a particular discussion on the rehabilitation of temples, temples, and businesses damaged in recent violence in different parts of the country at the Secretariat’s office, he spoke to reporters.
The state minister for religion said at the time, “A group is working to destroy the atmosphere of harmony in the country to hinder the country’s development progress.” As part of this, in recent times, during Durga Puja, the Hindu community has been attacked on various pretexts, destroying the atmosphere of harmony in the country. Many of the people involved in these heinous acts have already been brought to justice and will be brought to justice soon. The government will do everything possible to ensure an atmosphere of harmony in the country.
Faridul Haque Khan said temples and businesses, individuals and victims affected by the Durga Puja and the ensuing violence would be rehabilitated.
He said, ‘The moral of Hindu religious people have suffered the most in this pre-planned violence organized by the fundamentalists. All necessary steps will be taken to restore the morale of Hindus. For this, the government’s local administration, political leaders, and leaders of various religious organizations will work together.
The state minister said, “Considering the situation, it has been decided that the list of temples, businesses, individuals and casualties affected by the violence during the Durga Puja last autumn will be collected through the concerned deputy commissioner.”
He said a quick discussion meeting on communal harmony would be organized with grassroots administration political leaders and heads of religious institutions. The state minister also said that an exchange of views would be held with the affected organizations and individuals, adding that steps would be taken through the home ministry to expedite the trial of the cases. Centrally, an exchange of views or inter-religious dialogue will be organized with the representatives of religious and social organizations of Muslim, Hindu, Buddhist and Christian communities. Initiatives will be taken to introduce the same education system through the Ministry of Education.

Munim Hasan and Vice President of Mahanagar Puja Udjapan Parishad Shailandath Majumder were present.
