Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) Mayor Barrister Sheikh Fazle Noor Taposh has ordered eviction of an illegal installation on Rampura canal in Angar Jora area adjacent to Banspatti in Meradia J block.

On a regular weekly visit, today he visited the ‘potential site of Meradia-Aftab Nagar Link Bridge’ in the vicinity of Meradia Bazar. He then instructed Russell Sabrin, the corporation’s chief property officer, to evict the Rampura canal today.

Kazi Borhan Uddin, Chief Urban Planner Sirajul Islam, councilors and women councilors of the respective wards and local leaders of Awami League were present.
