Before leaving Dhaka, the Prime Minister inaugurated the VVIP lounge at Shahjalal

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina inaugurated the newly constructed VVIP lounge at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport before leaving for Japan. On Tuesday, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina left Dhaka for Tokyo on the first leg of her 2-week official visit to Japan, the United States, and the United Kingdom. The VVIP chartered flight of Biman Bangladesh Airlines carrying the Prime Minister and her entourage left Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport today at 7:56 AM. The flight is scheduled to land at Tokyo’s Haneda International Airport at 5:00 PM Japan local time. Japanese State Minister for Foreign Affairs Takei Shunsuke will welcome Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at the airport. He will be given a guard of honor at the airport.
