8 Warning signals at river ports in the region

On Monday (October 2nd), the weather office has issued a forecast as follows:

Meteorologist Shahana Sultanah has stated that there is a possibility of temporary rain/thunderstorms with gusty winds of 45-60 kilometers per hour from the south/southeast direction in Khulna, Barishal, Patuakhali, Noakhali, Comilla, Chittagong, Sylhet, and Cox’s Bazar regions. Rivers in these areas are advised to be on alert.

In another forecast, it has been mentioned that on Monday (October 2nd) evening until Tuesday (October 3rd) evening, there may be light to moderate rainfall/thunderstorms with gusty winds in many places of the Rangpur, Rajshahi, Khulna, Barishal, and Chittagong divisions, as well as in some places of the Dhaka, Mymensingh, and Sylhet divisions. In some areas of the country, there may be heavy rainfall as well.

From Tuesday evening to Wednesday evening (October 3rd to October 4th), there may be light to moderate rainfall/thunderstorms with gusty winds in many places of the Rajshahi, Rangpur, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna, Barishal, Chittagong, and Sylhet divisions. In some areas of the country, there may be heavy rainfall as well. The tendency for rain may decrease towards the end of the five-day period.
