Brazilian football legend Ronaldinho has arrived in Bangladesh. He landed in the country a few hours ago and has already met with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. This time, he is staying at the Radisson Hotel in Bangladesh.
National team coach, Jamie Day, and captain Jamal Bhuyan and women’s national team captain Sabina Khatun were previously invited to meet Ronaldinho. The invitation was extended by the Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) President Kazi M. Salahuddin and the executive committee.
Jamal Bhuyan and Sabina Khatun have now arrived at the Radisson Hotel to meet with Ronaldinho. However, Kazi M. Salahuddin, the president of the BFF, will not be attending the meeting with Ronaldinho, as reported.
Before this, Jamal did not meet with Argentinian World Cup-winning goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez. This had led to some controversy over his absence. However, this time, the arrangements have been made without any issues. Jamal himself is a supporter of Brazilian football, which is why he is eagerly looking forward to the meeting with Ronaldinho.
Ronaldinho, one of the stars of Brazil’s 2002 World Cup victory, arrived in Dhaka today (Wednesday) and is expected to stay for about 6 to 7 hours before departing for his home country.
