Israel cabinet approves Gaza ceasefire proposal

In Gaza, there has been a significant development in the ceasefire that has been in place for over four months. Israel’s cabinet has approved a proposal for more than four days of ceasefire. Qatar has mediated in this proposal.

Today, Wednesday, news has come about the approval of the ceasefire proposal.

Hammad Salhout, a representative from Al Jazeera in East Jerusalem, stated that according to the approved proposal in the Israeli cabinet, the Palestinian resistance organization Hamas will release around 50 prisoners held in their custody. In exchange, Israel will currently keep the attacks on the Gaza Strip on hold.
