Travel to Kenya without a visa

Kenya will no longer require a visa for travel to any country worldwide starting from January next year. This announcement was made by Kenya’s President, William Ruto, last Tuesday. He stated that travelers to Kenya can obtain an online travel pass, and there is no need to apply for a visa. This decision comes as part of the celebrations marking the 60th anniversary of Kenya’s independence from Britain. President Ruto made this announcement during a speech at an event held in Nairobi, the capital of Kenya.

Kenya’s president is advocating for visa-free travel within the African region. In a conference held in Congo last October, he mentioned that starting from January next year, citizens of African countries won’t need a visa to travel to Kenya.

This move is expected to facilitate easier travel for both Kenyan citizens and those visiting the country, promoting increased mobility and collaboration within the African continent.
