In view of the coronavirus situation, the Education-Minister said that there is a plan to take SSC, HSC and equivalent examinations in a limited range this year. SSC may be taken in November and HSC may be taken in December.
She made the remarks at a virtual press conference at his official residence on Minto Road in the capital at around 11:15 pm on Thursday.
“There are plans to take SSC in the second week of November and HSC in the first week of December between the short syllabus and the short term if the Corona situation subsides,” she said.
Referring to the experience of last year’s Covid-19 situation, the Education Minister said, “The situation in Corona improved in December last year. Now the organization of vaccination will start on a large scale. If the situation is normal, a limited range of tests will be conducted.
The press conference was attended by, among others, Deputy Minister of Education, Secretary of Secondary and Higher Education Department, Secretary of Technical and Madrasa Education Department, Director General of Secondary and Higher Education Department, Chairman of Dhaka Education Board and other Board Chairmen.
