Education Minister Dr. Dipu Moni yesterday said this year’s postponed Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations will begin across the country on September 15.
“This year’s postponed Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations will begin on September 15 while the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examinations will begin in November,” she said.
The minister disclosed the matter at a press conference held at the conference room of the Ministry of Education here.
The SSC and equivalent examinations were scheduled to start from June 19 last.
However, the Ministry of Education announced the suspension of the SSC and equivalent examinations on June 17 due to severe flood-situation that prevailed in various parts of the country including Sylhet and Sunamganj.
