Tony Blair meeting with the Prime Minister

Former British Prime Minister Tony Blair has made a courtesy call to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. The former British Prime Minister met at the Ganabhaban in Dhaka on Saturday (March 7). Tony Blair arrived in Dhaka on Friday evening for a two-day visit as the Executive Chairman of the Institute for Global Change. Foreign Ministry Secretary (West) Sabbir Ahmed Chowdhury welcomed him at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in the capital. He (Tony) was the Prime Minister of the UK from the Labor Party from 1 to 20. He is currently the Executive Chairman of the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change. Tony visited Dhaka with his wife Sherry Blair on the 21st. Before that, he came to Dhaka on a state visit while the Prime Minister of Britain was in 2002. Tony Blair came to Dhaka for the third time.
