Neymar is the name of the ‘problem’ at Al Hilal

It seems like Neymar hasn’t been able to find his rhythm since joining Al Hilal in Saudi Arabia. Despite the high expectations and the significant transfer fee, his performances have been somewhat underwhelming. Neymar’s arrival at Al Hilal was met with excitement, as he was expected to be a game-changer in the Saudi Pro League.

However, in his first few weeks with the team, Neymar hasn’t made a significant impact on the field. There have been reports of disagreements with the coach, and he hasn’t been able to score goals regularly. His move to Al Hilal was a big-money transfer, with reports suggesting that the club paid around 90 million euros for him, and there might be additional bonuses depending on certain conditions.

In his debut match for Al Hilal against Al Riyadh, Neymar did help the team win 6-1, but he didn’t score any goals himself. He also played in the AFC Champions League match against Navbahor from Uzbekistan, which ended in a 1-1 draw, but he couldn’t find the back of the net.

Even though Neymar has been playing, his performances have left much to be desired. There have been questions raised about his form and whether he can live up to the expectations of the team management. This information was reported by media outlets like Al Nassr.

Neymar also hasn’t found a great rapport with Al Hilal’s coach, George Jesus, known for his strict coaching style. It appears that Neymar’s time at Al Hilal hasn’t been smooth sailing on and off the field.

It’s worth noting that Neymar had suffered an injury before joining Al Hilal, and although he didn’t fully recover, he played two matches for Brazil in the South American World Cup qualifiers. Jesus, who is familiar with Neymar’s playing style, believes that Neymar wasn’t fit to play during that time.

Overall, Neymar’s adjustment to life at Al Hilal seems challenging, and he hasn’t been able to hit top form yet. It might take some time for him to settle in and perform at his best. The club and fans will be hoping for a magical performance from Neymar to justify the significant investment made in him.
