Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina returned to the country

Dhaka: After a 16-day trip to the United States and the United Kingdom, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has returned to Dhaka.

According to the news agency BSS, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina arrived in London at Heathrow Airport on a commercial flight of Biman Bangladesh Airlines at 9:10 PM (London time) on Tuesday, October 3. She was bid farewell at the airport by Bangladesh’s High Commissioner in the UK, Saida Muna Tasneem.

On Wednesday, October 4, at 12:15 PM, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina disembarked from the aircraft at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka.

Before returning to Dhaka, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina had arrived in London on a British Airways flight from Washington, D.C. on September 30.

During her stay in New York, she participated in various events, including the 78th session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) and held bilateral meetings at different levels, including high-level bilateral meetings and discussions with the UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres.

In Washington, D.C., Sheikh Hasina met with Bangladeshi expatriates from September 23 to September 29, including an event to honor them, and she also visited the Bangladesh Embassy in Washington, D.C.
