Former Member of Parliament for Madaripur-3 constituency and former Minister of Communications Syed Abul Hossain has passed away due to a heart ailment (Inna lillahi… Rajiun). He passed away on Wednesday, October 24th, in a critical condition while receiving treatment at a private hospital in the capital city.
Syed Abul Hossen was born on August 1, 1951. He served as a Member of Parliament for Madaripur-3 constituency from 1991 following his victory in the Fifth National Parliamentary Elections. Subsequently, he continued his responsibilities as a Member of Parliament in the Sixth, Seventh, Eighth, and Ninth Parliaments through consecutive elections. During his political career, he held the position of Minister of Communications, as well as Minister for Local Government, Rural Development, and Cooperatives in the local government.
