Shubman Gill at Ambani’s event with Sara

India has secured a spot in the World Cup semi-finals after winning their first six matches. If they defeat Sri Lanka today, they will ensure their place as the top team in the tournament. The match against Sri Lanka will be held at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.

Rohit Sharma’s team arrived in Mumbai three days before the match, as is customary. Shubman Gill also joined the team in Mumbai. However, Rohit and Virat Kohli were not staying in the same hotel. Rohit’s introductory partner was none other than Sachiin Tendulkar’s daughter, Sara Tendulkar.

There have been ongoing rumors about Gill and Sara’s relationship for quite some time. During the recent India-Bangladesh match on October 19, after Gill hit a boundary and reached his half-century, he was seen clapping in the VIP stand, where Sara was seated. However, neither side has officially confirmed anything about their relationship.

But, the paparazzi caught Gill and Sara together on the same night. Several Indian media outlets, including Times of India and Jagran, reported on the incident.

Mumbai’s central commercial area, Bandra-Kurla Complex, hosted the opening of India’s largest shopping mall, ‘Jio World Plaza,’ which is owned by India’s richest man, Mukesh Ambani. The event featured invitations to Bollywood and sports celebrities. Madhuri Dixit, Katrina Kaif, Sunil Shetty, John Abraham, Alia Bhatt, Rashmika Mandanna, and Janhvi Kapoor were among those spotted on the red carpet.

Sara and Gill attended the event as well. Sara wore a red outfit, while Gill was in a black suit. After the event, they left together in a car, which was captured by paparazzi cameras. This video has now gone viral on social media.

This year has been remarkable for Gill. He was in excellent form in all versions of the game, consistently scoring runs. However, he had a minor setback due to a dengue fever infection just before the World Cup. As a result, he couldn’t play the first two matches in the tournament. In the last four matches he played, he couldn’t replicate his previous form, scoring only 104 runs in four innings. It remains to be seen whether he can shine in the real pressure cooker of the World Cup in Mumbai. Let’s see what happens!
