Leaders and Activists on the Way to the Prime Minister’s Public Meeting in Khulna in 10 Pairs of Special Trains

Khulna: Thousands of leaders and workers are coming to Khulna by train to attend Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s public rally at the historic Circuit House ground.

On Monday (November 13), the Railway Division has arranged for the operation of 10 special trains for the Prime Minister’s public rally in Khulna.

These trains will bring passengers from Nawapara, Jessore, Benapole, Chuadanga, Kotchandpur, Alamdanga, Mobarakganj, and Kushtia to Khulna.

Mr. Masud Rana, the Station Master of Khulna Railway Station, said that for the Prime Minister’s visit to Khulna, 10 new trains will arrive from various districts. These trains will operate from Monday morning to evening.

Among these special trains is the Kushtia Special Train, which will carry passengers from Kushtia to Khulna, departing at 9 AM and reaching Khulna at 12:15 PM. The train will depart from Khulna for Kushtia at 5:20 PM and reach its destination at 8:20 PM.

The Alamdanga Special Train, departing from Alamdanga at 9 AM, will arrive in Khulna at 11:55 AM, with 732 seats. It will leave Khulna at 5:20 PM and reach its destination at 9 PM.

The Chuadanga Special Train, leaving Chuadanga at 9 AM, will arrive in Khulna at 11:40 AM, with 762 seats. It will depart from Khulna at 6 PM and reach its destination later at 9:20 PM.

The Kotchandpur Special Train will depart from Kotchandpur at 9:30 AM and arrive in Khulna at 11:40 AM with 630 seats. It will leave Khulna at 5:35 PM and reach its destination at 9:25 PM.

The Mobarakganj Special Train will leave Mobarakganj at 9 AM and reach Khulna at 10:40 AM with 735 seats. The train will depart from Khulna at 6:15 PM and reach its destination at 8:15 PM.

The Benapole Special Train will depart from Benapole at 7 AM and arrive in Khulna at 8:50 AM with 880 seats. The train will depart from Khulna at 5:50 PM and reach its destination at 7:50 PM.

In addition to this, two special trains will run from Jessore and Nawapara. The Jessore Special Train will leave Jessore at 8 AM, arrive in Khulna at 9 AM, depart from Khulna at 10:20 AM, and reach Jessore at 12:05 PM. Then it will leave Jessore at 12:20 PM and reach Khulna at 1:25 PM. From Khulna, it will depart again at 4:45 PM and arrive in Jessore at 5:50 PM.

The Nawapara Special Train will leave Nawapara at 9:45 AM and arrive in Khulna at 9:45 AM, with 492 seats. It will depart from Khulna at 10:05 AM and arrive in Nawapara at 10:45 AM. From Nawapara, the train will leave at 11:40 AM and reach Khulna at 12:25 PM. Later, it will depart from Khulna to Nawapara at 5:35 PM and reach there at 6:15 PM. Finally, from Nawapara, it will depart at 7:25 PM and arrive in Khulna at 7:55 PM.

Furthermore, for the convenience of people coming from remote areas through waterways, arrangements have been made for five ferries to operate simultaneously at Rupsa Ghat. There will be three ferries at Khulna Ghat and two at Nagar Ghat. In total, 10 ferries will operate on the river route throughout the day.

According to Khulna Road and Transport Division (Ferry Division), Chief Engineer Mr. Ajam Sheikh, for the uninterrupted movement of leaders and workers and the general public, they have added six new ferries to the existing four ferries in the river route.

The district administration of Khulna has informed that for the Prime Minister’s visit, she will land at the helipad built at Khulna District Stadium at 1 PM by helicopter. Afterward, from 1 PM to 2 PM, she will hold discussions with divisional officials at Circuit House. At 3 PM, she will inaugurate various development projects and foundation stones at Circuit House ground. After that, she will join the Awami League’s divisional public rally in Khulna.

The Mayor of Khulna City, Talukdar Abdul Khalek, will preside over the public rally, and Awami League’s Central General Secretary Obaidul Kader will be present as a special guest. Additionally, central and local leaders will address the public rally.
