The Tulare County District Attorney’s office announced last week that the young individual who successfully passed the bar exam is named Peter Park. On December 5, he took the oath to become an attorney.

The State Bar, in a statement sent via email to news agency AP, expressed uncertainty if Park is the youngest ever to pass the California bar exam. Nevertheless, they welcomed such a remarkable achievement at such a young age.

Leah Wilson, the executive director of the State Bar, stated that passing the California bar exam at any age is a tremendous accomplishment. If someone like Park achieves this feat at such a young age, it is extraordinary and represents an exceptional level of talent and success.

Last week, in an announcement from the District Attorney’s office, it was revealed that Park had participated in the exam in July and the results were published on November 9.

Park began his high school education at the age of 13 in California and later started his college-level proficiency exams. After passing the College Level Proficiency Exam, he began a four-year juris doctorate program at Northwestern California University School of Law.

In 2021, Park graduated, having passed the California High School Proficiency Exam at the age of 13, then moving on to excel in the bar exam. Afterward, he pursued legal studies, and at the age of 17, he became a clerk at the District Attorney’s office. By the end of October, he turned 18 and took the oath to become an attorney on December 5.
