Four judges have been appointed in the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court.
A notification in this regard has been issued today by order of the President and signed by the Secretary (Acting) of the Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, Md. Golam Sarwar.
The circular states, “By the power conferred by Article 95 (1) of the Constitution of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, His Excellency the President has appointed the following four judges working in the High Court Division of the Bangladesh Supreme Court from the date of their swearing in as Judges of the Appellate Division.”
The newly appointed Justices from the High Court Division to the Appellate Division are Justice Borhan Uddin, Justice M, Enayetur Rahim, Justice F. R. M Nazmul Ahsan, and Justice Krishna Debnath.
This appointment will be effective from the date of taking the oath.
