Khaleda Zia can do politics, but not elections: Agriculture Minister

BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia, despite being sentenced in a corruption case, has been staying at her Gulshan residence in the capital since March 2020 subject to the government’s executive order. Khaleda Zia was initially released on the condition of six months by the government’s executive order. The government is extending this period after six months. One of the conditions is that Khaleda Zia cannot go outside the country. But you can get treatment in the country. Agriculture Minister Abdur Razzak also said that elections will be held in the country according to the constitution. There will be no interruption. No one can do anything outside the constitution. The current government will remain in power till the election. Then the people will leave the power if they do not vote in the election. The press release of the Ministry of Agriculture informed that the Minister of Agriculture said that the work of exporting mangoes to Japan is almost final. The export of mangoes will start soon. Japan is interested in taking mangoes from Bangladesh. Work is in progress to fulfill Japan’s prerequisites for export. At the same time, opportunities will be created to export other fruits and vegetables. The minister said that the training of Japanese agronomists will increase cooperation in the agriculture sector by setting up factories for making agricultural machinery in Bangladesh. He said the MoU will be signed during Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s visit to Japan.
