As a result of the restrictions announced by the government in the last few days, the street children, day laborers and helpless people have been left without food. Therefore, from Monday (July 5), DMP will distribute food items among 5,000 helpless and distressed people for seven consecutive days.
On Sunday night, the DMP’s Additional Deputy Commissioner for Media and Public Relations said, food would be distributed simultaneously in 50 police stations in DMP for seven consecutive days on the instructions of DMP Commissioner Mohammad Shafiqul Islam.
Food was distributed among about 300 distressed people on Sunday at the initiative of DMP’s Ramna division. The food was distributed at the BTCL office in Ramna’s Paribagh. The DC of Ramna division said, food has been distributed among the distressed people in Corona. This effort will continue.
