By February, 8 crore people will be vaccinated

Health Minister Zahid Malek hopes that 7 to 8 crore people will be vaccinated between January and February next year.

The health minister was speaking to reporters at the secretariat on Monday (August 23rd).

Zahid Malek said, we will get 6 million Pfizer vaccines by September. Some will come this month, the rest in September. In addition, 10 crore doses of vaccine will be available through the World Health Organization.

The health minister further said that the mass vaccination activities are not being carried out at the moment. When the vaccine arrives, everyone must register and get vaccinated.
