More than 5 crore doses of corona vaccine given in the country

So far 5 crore 12 lakh 89 thousand 755 doses of vaccine have been administered under the nationwide vaccination program against coronavirus. 3 crore 41 lakh 17 thousand 948 people have taken the first dose of vaccine and 1 crore 61 lakh 61 thousand 608 people have taken the second dose of vaccine.

So far, 1 crore 84 lakh 2 thousand 438 males and 1 crore 57 lakh 15 thousand 510 females have received the first dose of vaccine. Among the second dose vaccine recipients, 98 lakh 20 thousand 18 men and 73 lakh 51 thousand 789 women.

Of these, 1 crore 30 lakh 76 thousand 662 doses of AstraZeneca vaccine Covishield have been applied. Pfizer-Bioentech vaccine has been administered in 2 lakh 12 thousand 105 doses. 3 crore 28 lakh 74 thousand 534 doses of Chinese synopharma vaccine have been administered. And modern vaccine has been applied 51 lakh 26 thousand 454 doses.

According to the Department of Health, 5 crore 6 lakh 79 thousand 792 people have registered for corona vaccine till 5:30 pm on Sunday (October 3). Of these, 5 crore 23 thousand 138 people have registered with national identity card number and 6 lakh 56 thousand 654 people have registered with passport number.
