We have to be honest in establishing justice like poor people: Chief Justice

Chief Justice Hasan Fayez Siddiqui has said, “We have to be extremely and strictly honest in establishing justice like the poor people of the country.”

“I believe that God will help me to help the poor and helpless to get justice,” he said. We have to be very honest in establishing justice for the country’s poor people. ‘

He said this while addressing a reception and dinner for Hasan Fayez Siddiqui as the Chief Justice. Kushtia District Bar Association organized the event on Thursday night.

Speaking as the chief guest under the chairmanship of ASM Akhtaruzzaman Masum, President of Kushtia District Bar Association, the Chief Justice said to the judges and lawyers present, “You all have to work honestly. Ordinary people will help those who come to get justice. The sooner you can, the better you can send them home. This will strengthen the confidence and trust of the commoner in the justice system. Everyone should play a responsible role so that the country’s working people get justice. ‘

Mentioning that it is possible to establish justice at all levels with the right combination of benches and bars, the Chief Justice recalled some of his memories, saying, “There will be many ups and downs in life, we have to be patient, we have to wait. Amid immersed pursuit, one must be honest and benevolent and establish justice. People will try to harm people, but they will not lose their morale. It is not right to disrespect anyone’s talents and abilities. ‘

Justice Abu Jafar Siddiqui, Joint General Secretary of Awami League and Member of Parliament for Kushtia Sadar constituency Mahbub-ul Alam Hanif, Member of Parliament for Kushtia-1 Daulatpur constituency AQM Sarwar Jahan Badshah, and Parliament for Kushtia-4 Kumarkhali-Khoksa constituency spoke as special guests at the reception.
