Columbia University suspends activities of two pro-Palestinian organizations, protests-criticism

Two organizations at the prestigious Columbia University in the United States have had their programs suspended by the university administration. Both organizations are pro-Palestinian. The university administration announced yesterday that the two organizations will not be allowed to conduct activities on campus. The two organizations are Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP) and Jewish Voice for Peace (JVP).

Members of these organizations had been carrying out various initiatives against Israel’s indiscriminate attacks in Gaza. In light of this, their activities have been halted. However, Columbia University’s administration has faced criticism for this decision.
